Am I the only one who still loves ramen noodles and/or Maruchan Instant Lunch?? I refuse to believe it’s just me.
I’m 10 years out of college (wow…that’ll make you feel old), and I still find excuses to pick these up at the grocery store. I mean, seriously – they’re 25 cents apiece.
And they’re just so tasty.
I love truly great food as much as the next gal (a juicy steak, crisp salad, savory chicken, etc.), but I can’t help but be seduced by ramen’s comforting, warm, salty embrace.
What’s 1,200 mg of sodium between friends?

They are my weakness! Actually, I love the square packages. I even like the weird flavors like mushroom and shrimp - chicken is the best, but I would eat them 7 days a week if they weren't so bad for you.
Thank goodness I'm not alone. :) My latest love is the spicy shrimp one. I have to limit myself to only a couple a month, or I would be pickled in artificial flavoring and sodium for sure. {heart}
When I was first pregnant I couldn't get enough of the noodles-in-a-cup ones. Then I read the sodium intake... :)
I still think those noodles are amazing. I'm allowing myself one a year.
i need to revisit the noodles in a cup. ramen is SO GOOD....until you read the label!
Add me to the list! I have a supply of Maruchan Instant Lunches in my desk at work. We have a hot water tap on our water cooler, so it's quick and easy - and delicious!
Have you that that ramen noodle salad that I believe all moms know how to make? It's awesome. C.'s mom makes it. Yum.
Love Ramen, though I prefer the square packages over the cup. We started getting these again when my sister, who is in college, moved in last year. I forgot how much I loved them!
Question to ramen lovers, when you eat the square packaged ones do you keep the broth or get rid of it? I have always eaten them with no broth...tastes so much better that way. However, I just recently learned that most people keep the broth! I never knew.
I just made Ramen for lunch today for everyone. The kids DEVOURED it. I made way too much, so we'll have it for left overs tomorrow. Darn. :)
I made it less soupy and more noodle-y. That's how I like to eat it too, WK. Plus, it was easier for the kids to eat that way.
(And I only put in 1/2 the packet of seasoning for each pack of noodles.... trying to be a bit healthier on the sodium intake.)
