Sigh.

I spent five hours this weekend carving these pumpkins. I'm rather pleased with how they turned out. (I didn't even use a pattern!)

In this photo, you can see where I tried (only somewhat successfully) to carve the word "Boo!"

Sigh. I wish I was still on vacation.

Boo.

I love pumpkins and carving them is totally fun! Getting out all the supplies....roasting the seeds, displaying your artwork...

Ohhh! Nice job! I specifically love how you carved the word, "Boo!" They look great!

(Did you eat pumpkin seeds? Yum.)

I collected the pumpkin seeds and was all excited to make some interesting spice combos when I looked up the caloric value of pumpkin seeds online. Holy cow, Batman.

I still have a pile of them, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to eat them! :(

(I would like to carve more pumpkins, though -- so much fun.)

Fun, I really like those! Very nice job with the carving of the pumpkins!

I still have no idea what I want to carve this year, as it is such a big decision. Last year I did Jack Skellington and then tried Eddie the mascot from Iron Maiden, for anyone who has any idea who I am talking about! (Jack was good, eddie was just ok - took me forever).

P.S. I am very sad to hear that pumpkin seeds are not good for you, I love them!

My husband would be VERY impressed with the Eddie pumpkin! :) Maybe I'll have to try that...
